Risk-Based Solutions has a core broad-based multidisciplinary team of two experts (Dr. Sindila Mwiya and Ms Vita Stankevica –MSc) who are highly qualified, skilled and experienced personnel. The overall management of various projects is often headed by Dr. Sindila Mwiya who is also the engineering foresight of Risk-Based Solutions. Dr. Sindila Mwiya is highly qualified and experienced in mining, petroleum, management, applied environment, geoenvironmental engineering and geotechnical engineering with experience gained from public and private employments and contracts in Namibia and the SADC region. He has worked as a project manager, consultant, advisor and reviewer on local, national and regional (SADC)  as well as on bilateral and multilateral projects with the objective to ensure substantial development, and for development programmes financed by governments and donor organisations. Among his academic achievements, he is a holder of a Ph.D., PG Cert and BEng (Hons) qualifications from the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom. As part of his professional career recognition, Dr. Sindila Mwiya is a member of the Geological Society of Namibia, Consulting member of the Hydrogeological Society of Namibia and a Professional Engineer registered with the Engineering Council of Namibia. He possesses excellent technical, computing, analytical, communicative, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Ms Vita Stankevica (M.Sc) is the environmental foresight of Risk-Based Solutions. She has extensive experience in programme management and administration with skills gained from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), and recently with the World Bank projects’ implementation and management processes. She has been involved in a number of environmental projects in Namibia, among them the Integrated Community-Based Ecosystem Management (ICEMA). Ms Vita Stankevica has an MSc Degree in Regional Planning and Development as well as a BSc Degree in Physical Geography from the University of Latvia.  She has extensive knowledge in physical environment and its interaction with human activities, understanding of environmental and social processes in urban and rural areas with respect to current and future perspectives in environmental protection and sustainable development strategies.
